Tim Gard, CSP, CPAE, is a Hall of Fame professional speaker, author, and internationally recognized authority on using humor to improve resilience, communication, workplace culture, and safety.

For more than three decades, Tim has brought his unique blend of clean humor, unforgettable storytelling, and practical ideas to thousands of audiences around the world—from Texas to Tasmania and New Zealand to Nebraska. He has delivered more than 4,000 presentations and traveled more than three million miles sharing a simple philosophy: Humor doesn’t change the facts. It changes our ability to deal with them.

Before becoming a full-time professional speaker, Tim worked in human services and later became a welfare fraud investigator and federal employee with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Those experiences gave him a firsthand understanding of stress, conflict, difficult people, change, and the importance of maintaining perspective when the work gets serious.

Today, Tim's signature programs include Change The Game, Sticky Safety™, and The Tao of Humor. His programs help people become more resilient, communicate more effectively, reduce stress, strengthen workplace relationships, and discover new possibilities in challenging situations.

Tim is also a speaker coach specializing in how to add story and humor to any program

Tim is the author or co-author of several books and the creator of innovative humor tools he calls Ex-Stressories™. He is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and a recipient of the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame award, two of the speaking profession's highest honors.

A U.S. Navy veteran, business owner, inventor, and master storyteller, Tim believes humor is much more than entertainment. Used intentionally, it is a powerful skill that can change the way people think, work, communicate, and live.
