Amy Castro, CSP, is a professional speaker, communication expert, author, and consultant who believes most workplace problems would be a whole lot easier to solve if people stopped dancing around the issues and started communicating clearly.

A Certified Speaking Professional, Amy has spent more than 20 years helping leaders, teams, and organizations tackle the conversations that make work harder than it needs to be. Her programs focus on practical communication, leadership, customer service, hiring, and workplace relationships, with less theory and a lot more “here’s what to actually say and do.”

Amy has worked with audiences across industries including healthcare, government, petrochemical, professional services, and the pet industry. She’s known for her candid style, sense of humor, and ability to make complicated people problems feel a little less complicated.

She is the author of "Practical Communication: 25 Tips, Tools, and Techniques for Getting Along and Getting Things Done" and a former U.S. Air Force public affairs officer. That experience taught her early that words matter, clarity matters, and hoping people “just know what you mean” is rarely a solid communication strategy.
