Professional Bio

I teach leaders how to amplify brilliance in permanent uncertainty.

Here's the claim at the center of my work: brilliant hope is a measurable leadership strategy. Not a mood.

What I do for organizations. I come into rooms where the strategy is sound but the energy isn't, and I give leaders a shared language for what's actually happening. Then I hand them tools they can use Monday.

I've tested this inside 2,600 organizations across 55 countries — as a researcher, keynote speaker, and a facilitator when the room needs to reach its own conclusions, and an advisor to executives making decisions before the picture is clear.

My national study, The State of Working America: Thriving in Resilience and Brilliance, reshaped how organizations understand well-being and the psychological drivers of performance.

My twelfth book, Amplify Hope: Lead From Where You Are Standing, names the era that research describes: the Hope Economy. My weekly podcast, Amplify Hope Today, puts it to work one conversation at a time.

All of it is delivered in person and digitally at scale in more than 100 languages — so a manager in São Paulo, Seoul, or Silicon Valley hears it in her own tongue.

The foundation was laid at the Disney Institute, where as sales director I learned that service isn't a transaction. It's an elevation of the human experience. Twenty-four years later, that's still the whole thesis.

The receipts: 14 LinkedIn Learning courses reaching 400,000 professionals in 100 countries, and a place on Success magazine’s Top 25 People Who Will Help You Succeed.

I serve on the board of the Orlando Health Foundation ($2B Healthcare system) and hold an Executive MBA from the University of East London. My two college-educated young adults whose unfolding brilliance I consider my proudest work.
