Bryan Rutberg

Bryan Rutberg is a keynote speaker, facilitator, speechwriter, and communication strategist who blends executive-level business insight with an unusually human-centered approach to leadership, customer experience, and connection. He is the “Hippie with an MBA,” combining empathy and strategy to help organizations create stronger relationships with customers, clients, and supporters in ways that drive both human and business outcomes.

His corporate career pivoted on clear communication and the ability to form lasting relationships. At Hewlett-Packard, Bryan was an award-winning sales representative who rose into regional and global alliance leadership roles managing strategic relationships with major technology partners. At McKinsey & Company, he helped strengthen client experience through technology-enabled consulting delivery and by helping the firm's functional and industry practices develop relationships with key technology companies. He later joined Microsoft, serving first as Director of the company's renowned Executive Briefing Center and later as speechwriter and executive communications lead for the Corporate Vice President overseeing the company’s global customer support organization.

Since 2011, Bryan has worked independently with startups, nonprofits, associations, midsize companies, and the Fortune 500, helping leaders clarify their messages, strengthen communications, and create experiences people genuinely connect with and remember. Notable clients and collaborations have included NBCUniversal, CrowdStrike, Juniper Networks, Talking Rain Beverage Company, and the Seattle Aquarium.

Bryan’s keynote presentations combine storytelling, interaction, humor, practical insight, and memorable audience experiences that continue long after the event ends. His co-authored book, Acts of Humanity: The Power of Purposeful Events, will be released in August 2026.
