Darron Meares

Darron Meares, MBA, CAI, BAS, MPPA, AMM, is a professional fundraising auctioneer, emcee, speaker, and educator who has spent decades engaging audiences, commanding stages, and helping organizations turn their missions into action. As the founder of Bowtie Benefit Auctions, Darron works with nonprofit organizations and charitable events across the country, using a combination of energy, humor, storytelling, and audience engagement to inspire generosity and create memorable fundraising experiences.

Beyond the fundraising stage, Darron is an experienced speaker and instructor who brings practical, real-world lessons on communication, confidence, leadership, sales, and the art of connecting with an audience. His career has placed him in front of audiences ranging from intimate boardrooms and classrooms to ballrooms filled with hundreds of guests.

Darron is a former Chairman of the National Auctioneers Association Education Institute and served a three-year term on the NAA Board of Directors. He is a past president of the South Carolina Auctioneers Association, the 2013–14 South Carolina Bid Calling Grand Champion, and a 2018 inductee into the South Carolina Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame.
