Professional Bio

Erin Mark doesn’t just speak about patient experience, she lived it from the moment she learned her life might be short.

At five years old, she overheard her father say her life expectancy was eighteen. While other kids were imagining their future, she was learning hers might be limited. It shaped how she sees time, pressure, and what it means to truly live.

At 35, she entered end-stage illness and was told there were no options left.

As she was slipping away, a breakthrough treatment was approved and saved her life at the very last moment.

That experience shaped her belief in the profound impact healthcare professionals have. The power they hold extends far beyond clinical decisions. The way they show up shapes not only outcomes, but whether a patient experiences hope, trust, and dignity.

Today, Erin is a national keynote and TEDx speaker on a mission to honor the healthcare professionals who fight for their patients, helping teams reconnect with their “why,” strengthen patient experience, and navigate burnout and pressure so they can continue delivering care patients never forget.

She also works with sales and leadership teams to build trust, practical resilience, and perform under pressure.

If she weren’t on stage, Erin would likely be on a game show somewhere. After appearing on Press Your Luck, she’s always up for the thrill of taking a chance.
