Jane Edmonds

Leadership is the art of seeing possibility—in people, in organizations, and in ourselves—and cultivating an understanding heart to help it flourish. For more than four decades, Jane C. Edmonds has devoted her life's work to bringing that philosophy to life.

Throughout a distinguished career spanning government, higher education, healthcare, business, and nonprofit leadership, Jane has dedicated her life's work to helping others discover strengths they never knew they possessed and to building organizations where people—and possibilities—can thrive.

Jane serves as Vice President for Programming and Community Outreach at Babson College, where she convenes leaders from business, healthcare, education, and the nonprofit sector to explore entrepreneurial leadership and innovation. She is also Founder and CEO of Jane & Company LLC, serving as an executive coach and trusted advisor to senior leaders navigating complexity, organizational change, and career transitions.

A nationally respected civic leader, and board member of several nonprofit organizations, Jane currently serves as Chair of the Lahey Clinic Board of Trustees. Her previous leadership roles include Massachusetts Secretary of Workforce Development and Chair of the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

Known for her engaging storytelling, Jane blends warmth, wisdom, gentle humor, and practical insight to illuminate profound leadership lessons. Her presentations challenge audiences to think differently about leadership—not as the exercise of authority, but as the ability to recognize untapped potential, build meaningful connections, and inspire others to accomplish more than they believed possible.
