Kenny Sigler has built a career on the belief, backed up by execution: donor relationships shouldn't be the thing nonprofits get to after everything else. As founder of Sigler & Co, he works as a donor engagement advisor helping nonprofit leaders replace reactive fundraising with a system that's relationship-based, intentional, and sustainable.
Kenny spent more than a dozen years in the trenches before starting his own company, moving up through development director and major gifts director roles and picking up the scars and stories that come with them. That background in the field allows him to build steps that actually work and use words real fundraisers use. Less “synergize stakeholder engagement,” more “stop treating your donors like leftovers.”
His most recent proof: the Bethesda Health Clinic’s Greater Works Campaign, a $25 million effort to turn a movie theater into a nonprofit health clinic. Kenny helped prepare the organization for the campaign, built the campaign strategy, and worked alongside the campaign leadership.
A Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), Kenny is the past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ East Texas Chapter and former chairman of the East Texas National Philanthropy Day Luncheon. He’s a regular presenter and workshop facilitator for nonprofit and fundraising audiences, known for trading jargon for real talk and PowerPoint fatigue for actual takeaways.
