Professional Bio
Sharon Delaney McCloud believes now more than ever before, your words matter. She’s an
Emmy Award-winning broadcaster, Certified Speaking Professional CSP®, TEDx Speaker,
adjunct professor and corporate leadership consultant whose goal is to help
people make an impact in business and life by embracing powerful communication.
As the founder of a three-time INC 5000-recognized firm, her professional mission is to
empower people and organizations to leave a lasting impact through the art of intentional
storytelling as a curious communicator, which requires highly evolved self-awareness and the
ability to navigate challenging conversations.
Sharon's insights have been featured in notable publications such as Thrive Global and
Enterprising Women, and she co-authored the book Keep Going: Memoirs of Strength, Courage & Perseverance.
Her extensive portfolio includes collaborations with industry leaders and
institutions such as Cisco, Lenovo, Red Hat, Eaton, UNC Health, Duke University, 7-Eleven,
Amazon, IBM, Eaton, Hilton Hotels, Delta Air Lines, Hitachi Energy, NC State University, and
her alma mater, Florida State University.
Prior to founding her consultancy, Sharon’s career included global outreach with the
Department of Defense’s USO Program, where she supported American troops stationed
abroad. Her domestic career as a television journalist spanned two decades, during which she
covered a wide array of topics, including NASA, healthcare, and major cultural events like the
Super Bowl and the Olympics, where she had the honor of carrying the Olympic Torch.
As a Mom of three, Sharon considers that her most important role as she attempts to keep all the balls in the air in our fast-paced lives.
